Dogs at The Hollybush

We are a dog friendly pub and welcome dogs in our Village Bar and pub Garden. The Holly Bush has 2 friendly resident dogs called Kye and Dougal.

Tige
Tige is a chocolate brown Labrador and is 2 years old. Tige is always on the go and loves walks and is always dropping his ball in the hope that someone will pick it up and throw if for him to bring back. Failing this, he will drop the ball at the top of the patio, let it roll down and then go and collect it and repeat! Tige has a medical condition which means he cannot eat any solid food as it could kill him. He has his own special diet to follow and you can see posters around the pub saying that he must not be fed.

Dougal
Dougal is the new addition to the Holly Bush. He is a golden Labrador who is still a puppy at 4 months old. He loves being made a fuss of and playing with his best friend Tige.

Molly
You might be lucky enough to meet Molly who stays at the pub one day a week (he is the Landlord’s daughter’s dog). Molly is a cheeky loveable little lady who is 15 months old and likes attention from anyone!

Kye
Kye also appears in the photo below. Kye died at the grand old age of 19 years in October 2010, he will be missed by all those that knew him.
