Dr. George E. Roberts III - Surrey
As an American who has lived in England for twenty years, we have always enjoyed exploring new and varied places. We could go to the local Four Seasons, which does have good service, but quite frankly, enjoy the food and service at the Holly Bush better. Besides, they let us play ball with the dog and it's a blast. Bring your friends, as you will not be disappointed.

What's truly special about this little place is that Frank and Julia put their heart into everything, the food, the service, the atmosphere and you! I have never been to a pub where such warmth and happiness radiates. It's great for a game of pool too. It's very rare if you can beat Frank at a game. He'll take anybody on! It's by far my favourite pub in all of Waverley Borough!

The Holly Bush is such a lovely, welcoming place which serves great home cooked food alongside great beer. I highly recommend the lamb hot pot. Ask Julia and she'll let you customise your dinner. I always choose her home made coleslaw!! Its full of flavour and makes my mouth water just thinking about it!!
Wash it down with a nice cold stella or if they have it - BULMERS (Draft)!
