The Sophie Story Pamper Evening
Once last orders were called on Sunday 23rd November, The Holly Bush was 'transformed' from the local village pub into a mini health and therapy centre crossed with an indoor market to spoil the ladies rotten!
The main bar of the pub was packed full with a variety of stalls for everyone to start their Christmas shopping or treat themselves and included books, jewellery, make up and cards. At one point it was so busy it made Blackbush Sunday Market look quiet!
The ‘Top Totty’ barmen Tony and Tim were suitably dressed in black boxer shorts and aprons for the night, they were extremely brave and very good sports, giving up their Sunday evening for free and going beyond the call of duty to give the girls plenty to look at!! - they even had their own ‘tip bucket’ which they donated to CHASE!
The pub restaurant was made into the ‘treatment room’ where a selection of therapists came along to provide a variety of treatments including mini facials, nail file and polishes, hand and foot massages, Indian head massages and make up trials. All appointments went smoothly and we managed to fit everyone in eventually, with a bit of table moving and loosing a few chairs.
A HUGE raffle was held with a large number of prizes including gift vouchers, gift boxes, wine, champagne and family outings.
The event had an excellent turnout and the pub was full up with ladies all having a great time whilst raising money for this wonderful cause. A big thank you to everyone who came, the evening was a fabulous success with over £1000 being raised for CHASE Hospice Care for Children.
We'd like to thank everyone who was a part of the evening including therapists, shops, those that donated prizes and money, and everyone that came along.
